Roadhouse Macau by FHO will expand to two riders for the 2024 Isle of Man TT Races, with regular rider Brian McCormack joined by fellow Irishman Eoin O’Siochru who is set to make his TT debut.

McCormack, the second fastest Irishman around the TT Mountain Course, will have an all-new BMW M 1000 RR for the RST Superbike, RL360 Superstock and Milwaukee Senior TT Races, where he’ll again enjoy support from Faye Ho and the FHO Racing team, and will be joined by O’Siochru in the two Monster Energy Supersport and Entire Cover insurance Supertwin Races.

The duo will campaign a pair of Triumph 765s and Aprilia RS660s respectively, competing under the Global Robots banner in both classes, with their Triumph Supersport machinery prepared by Peter Hickman’s PHR Performance concern and built to the same specification as the 13-time TT winner’s own.

McCormack has been ever-present at the TT since making his debut in 2010 and in that time has amassed eighteen top-20 finishes. 2023 saw him claim a best finish of 11th in the opening Superstock Race, but he’s eager to get back amongst the top 10 this time around as he did in the 2018 and 2019 Senior Races. His personal best lap of the Mountain Course, 128.812mph, was set in the latter.

Brian McCormack: “Last year’s TT went ok for me but I’m looking for more in 2024. I had some solid, consistent results but things didn’t really click for me. It wasn’t through the lack of trying and with 2022 not being great either, I’m delighted to have everyone’s support again and be heading back this year with new machinery.”

“The aim is top 10 finishes like we got in 2018 and 2019. Last time on the TT Course was at the Manx Grand Prix where I had a good race and was challenging for the podium on the Classic Superbike, so I’m confident we can get back in the top 10 at the TT.”

“I don’t like to set goals, but I know where I need to improve so hopefully I’ll get it all together this year as the TT is the main event of the year for both the team and me. Our whole season is built around it, so with both Ciaran [Carruthers - owner of the Roadhouse Macau bar] and myself looking to bring in a second rider, that’s what we’ve done.”

“Eoin fits the bike perfectly and goes about his racing the right way, with a good head on his shoulders. He’s proven himself on the Irish roads and has made good progress at the Manx Grand Prix, so it’s great to have him on board.”

O’Siochru makes the step up to the TT after impressing at both the Manx Grand Prix as well as the Irish National Road Races, where he’s chalked up a number of race wins and podiums across various categories.

The 32-year old got his first taste of the Mountain Course two years ago and is now set to fulfil a dream of competing at the TT.

Eoin O’Siochru: “I spoke to Brian for the first time properly at last year's Manx where he was a great help. He must have kept an eye on my performances over the week because we kept in contact after that, and then on New Year's Day I got a message from him asking if I wanted to join the team and, to be honest, I thought it was a bit of a joke! But it’s all gone from there.”

“The TT’s been an absolute dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and when I first visited the Island and saw the bikes go by I knew it was what I wanted to do. The package that Brian's putting together is really impressive so getting to do the TT this year with a team as professional as Roadhouse Macau and with an experienced rider as Brian is something that I can only have dreamed of, and I’m still pinching myself now trying to believe it's true! I just can't wait to get going.”
