British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Test day at Croft

Pre-season testing for the BTCC is now complete, and the stage is set for this weekend’s opening round at Donington Park on the National circuit. The 20 drivers in 9 teams will compete for the championship over 30 races at ten events, visiting Brands Hatch and Donington Park twice to take on the very different Indy/National and GP circuits. The Vintage Sports-Car Club (VSCC), which celebrates its 90th birthday this year, covers a wide range of motoring disciplines from driving tests and touring events to hillclimbs and race meetings. The traditional season opening race meeting is the Spring Start at Silverstone which for 2024 ran over two days. A VSCC race meeting will typically include races from invited clubs – in this case HGPCA, 500 Owners Association and FISCAR. Click the image for more.
Ferrari Challenge UK - Round 1 - Brands Hatch

The Ferrari Challenge returns once again, kicking off the 2024 season at the ever-popular Brands Hatch circuit in Kent. I chose to attend on the Saturday, watching the series race on the Indy layout. The Ferrari Challenge throws a slight curveball at Brands Hatch, with drivers racing on the Indy layout on a Saturday and the GP layout on a Sunday. Click the image for more.
