Michael Dunlop MBE has become the most successful rider in the history of the Isle of Man TT with 33 wins to his name.
Michael Dunlop dominated the 2025 Isle of Man TT, securing a record-extending 33rd victory by winning the Supersport and Supertwin categories, marking his seventh consecutive win in Supersport and giving Ducati their first win since 1995. He also achieved a new Supertwin lap record during his triumphs.
Michael Dunlop received his MBE from King Charles III Tuesday 4th November 2025.
Michale received the honour for services to motorcycle racing from King Charles III at Windsor Castle.
Michale said:
“I’m deeply honoured to have received my MBE today from His Majesty the King. It’s a privilege to have my work and achievements recognised in this way”.

Michael Dunlop MBE was honoured with a permanent naming of a section of the Mountain Course, joining his uncle Joey Dunlop in a special place of recognition on the iconic circuit.
The newly named corner, known as ‘MD’s’, is a left-hand bend located just after the 27th milestone on the Mountain Section of the course.
This naming commemorates Dunlop’s 27th TT victory in 2024, which surpassed the previous record held by his uncle, Joey Dunlop.
The positioning of ‘MD’s’ is symbolic, following ‘Joey’s’ at the 26th milestone, highlighting the enduring legacy of the Dunlop family in TT history.
